I really ending up loving the His Dark Materials book, although it took me a while to get into The Golden Compass. And I have Wilde's Fire to read, too! I hope you enjoy all your books!

The Golden Compass is one of my absolute favourite books EVER - the entire His Dark Materials series is actually my favourite. It takes some people time to get into it (a lot of the names are off-putting), but I hope it's ok for you; it's a wonderful story and world.

Yes Intangible is a cool read. I am looking forward to reading your thoughts about Magyk and the rest of that series. I have the audio book for Magyk and I stopped at chapter 1 LOL. It sounds exciting a la Harry Potter but I need a little push (or pull) to get it off my TBR list.
