Judge a Book By Its Cover

Cover Look-Alike Edition
Shatter Me German Edition (left) and Carrier of the Mark (right)
The cover of Shatter Me looks very exactly the cover of Carrier of  the Mark. I really lovedboth covers. I liked the blue color and the 'smoky' effect. I don't know what you call that thing at the bottom. XD 

So, what can you say about the cover? :D

    It's the same picture, except the background... But I prefer the cover of Carrier of the Mark. I really like the 'smokey' effect.

    Looks like the same picture to me as well, save for the background.
    Did the cover artists work with an image bought from iStockphoto or some similar website, maybe?
